2007/9/19 The Reason why the cost of living in Tainwan is rising

As for today, I had read an article and figured out the reason why the cost of living in Taiwan is rising. The reason for that is simple because the European Commission wants to lift a sharp increase in prices for many agricultural commodities. The reason is that the whole world is over-populated and that leads to the strong demands of crops. So EU decided to increase the price of maize by 50% and the price of wheat by eighty percent. From what I had known, most of our wheat and maize flours are imported from other European countries. As the price had set to increase in the European country, the coming impact of Taiwan will be price of imported goods. The continuous boosting of price will be a frequent treats of economic problems.
